Job Location: Chennai, India  

Job Description : 
  • Work within the engineering team on improving existing or designing new electron-beam imaging products for the semiconductor equipment market. Activities will include tool driving and maintenance, integration, development of new designs, SW / HW requirements specification and characterization.
  • There will be a significant amount of "hands-on" work to integrate and test the various sub-systems. The candidate is expected to gain a detailed functional understanding of the entire product.
  • The candidate has to be organized and detail oriented while under schedule and customer pressures and on multiple projects.  The candidate has to be creative thinker and detail oriented problem-solver.   Position requires not only following existing procedures, but also creating detailed procedures and other documentation based on experimental data collection and general ideas.
  • Candidate is expected to be involved in remote and on site customer support.  This includes travel to customer sites on short notice (between 25 and 50% travel load).
Preferred Qualifications : 
  • Candidate should have Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering or the physical sciences. 
  • He/she must have demonstrated an ability to solve complex technical problems. 
  • Hands-on experiences in machine control and/or scientific data analysis is highly desired. 
  • Knowledge of vacuum instrumentation is required, and knowledge of electron beam systems such as electron microscopes is preferred.  
  • Finally, the candidate must have excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Lead IT (SAP - FICO)

Responsibilities :
  • Responsible for the solution design, configuration, testing and maintenance of the SAP FI/CO modules in ECC 6.0, including providing SAP expertise in FI/CO area.
  • Actively work with Business Resources to determine the technical solution that best meets the business requirements.
  • Experience and knowledge of integration points of FI/CO modules and across other SAP modules.
  • Responsible for Enhancements, projects as well as adhoc support to troubleshoot, investigate, analyze and solve production issues.
  • Responsible for working with business users and clients to gather and document business requirements for system changes and to develop solutions to satisfy business needs.
  • Responsible for analyzing the impact changes will have on other internal/external business application systems.
  • Responsible for developing all documentation related to system changes per SOX change control policies and procedures
  • Review current finance and accounting business processes to determine where automation / improvements will drive efficiency. Identify process inefficiencies, recommend innovative uses of software functionality, design, implement solutions and train end-users.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, business, computer information systems or related field.
  • Eight to ten years functional and technical experience with SAP FI/CO Module in ERP system, with analysis and design of business applications related to the FICO area including but not limited to: Fixed assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, product costing, PCA, CCA, interfaces to subsystems. Knowledge of SAP T&E is recommended.
  • Knowledge and experience with ABAP programming, SAP HANA and SAP T&E is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand system capabilities and ability to find ways to improve system performance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with planners, peers and executive leadership
  • Previous experience in systems support activities, i.e. business to IT liaison
  • Previous experience in defining system requirement and defining test scenarios
  • Demonstrated high learning agility and strong analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills that align with the Client culture. Specific skills include facilitating change, driving operational excellence, and striving for continuous improvement.

We are seeking Technical Lead - SQE for a position based in Chennai, SQE will join a world-class software team to plan, manage, execute, and report results for all testing activities for the team.

Key Responsibilities includes:

  • Should be able to understand IC Design and its use in developing wafer inspection solutions and test cases
  • Ability to understand and develop test cases in new technologies like Deep Learning, machine learnings etc.
  • Represent SQE team in product life cycle and key program meetings.

Manager - Software Projects

Job Description:

  1. Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of inspector software
  2. Participate in end to end product development lifecycle activities
  3. Acquire knowledge of key use cases in defect inspection using SWIFT tools
  4. Collaborate with teams across different geographical zones to drive / develop / deliver software solutions
  5. Work across groups including systems/hardware, marketing, applications and manufacturing on all aspects of software project including requirement definition, design, development, deployment, support and service
  6. Provide technical leadership and be able to support the detailed analysis and tradeoffs for the various solutions
  7. Understand, champion and enforce software development best practices.
  8. Understand, troubleshoot, and drive difficult issues that span whole systems or organizations. Able to uncover root cause and to devise and drive innovative analyses and solutions for complex problems.
  9. Manage a small/medium sized team of about 7 engineers working on different product releases and product domains.
  10. Manage schedules and deliverables for features assigned to the team.

Qualifications:

Job Description: Applications Engineers are responsible for supporting KLA-Tencor's optical wafer inspection products. They are involved with development & characterization of next generation optical wafer inspection products. They face the customer to demonstrate product performance, both in-house (at Milpitas, USA campus) and at customer facilities (at various locations worldwide). Applications Engineers are responsible to prove technical superiority of K-T tools over competitor tools at customer sites. They work closely with many organizations, including engineering, marketing and software teams within K-T and with customer engineers outside KLA-Tencor.

After joining, Applications Engineers receive extensive training on KLA-Tencor’s optical wafer inspection products and also on IC chip manufacturing industry & processes, both in India and US. Once trained, they need to travel to customer facilities to support KLA-Tencor’s optical wafer inspection products. Hence, this profile involves high worldwide travel (~70%), mostly to customer locations such as: Samsung Korea, TSMC Taiwan, Toshiba Japan, Intel USA, IBM USA, Hynix Korea, Global Foundries Singapore, UMC Taiwan etc.

We are seeking Associate Technical Lead for a position based in Chennai, who will work in a Challenging and Innovative environment at our Wafer Inspection Division with highly integrated multi-disciplinary team and whose responsibilities will include:

The Role:
  • Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of review software\system.
  • Do requirements analysis, architectural analysis, design, develop and unit testing
  • Do feasibility analysis of new features for complex software
  • Acquire knowledge of key use cases in defect review system.
  • Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
  • Responsible for product prototyping, development, quality and reliability.
  • Work with hardware and systems/application groups to understand system requirements and map them to a software design
  • Work in a global environment to Interact with multi-site team members (India, USA) during software product life cycle for requirement analysis, design, coding, integration and testing.
  • Providing technical expertise to the estimation process as input to the project plan
  • Following KT defined software development processes

Qualification:

  • Good academics. BE/BS/BTech/MS/MTech degree in Computer Science/SW Engg/Electronics/Electrical Engg.
  • 3 to 7 years of SW development experience.
  • Strong in programming fundamentals in C#/.Net. 
  • Experience in Multi-threaded software application programming.
  • Must be able to work with hardware and systems/application groups to understand system requirements and map them to a software design.
  • Experience with CMM, UML, Rational Suite, Clearcase
  • Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering
  • Need excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience in WPF, .Net Remoting, Interprocess communication and Multi core programming.
  • Experience with Machine control, Factory Automation or Embedded SW
